Many of us wonder why it is necessary to give of our finances to the work of God. To the Church, para-church organizations, missions etc. Some of us even have a difficulty with going to church or watching a Christian TV program because “they are always asking for money!”
Dr. Des will tell you the reasons why you Moneygram fees should give and how to enjoy giving and being a blessing to others even outside the church. You will understand fully that it is not only the church that requires one to give but even the other religions require this practice.

Dr. Des in this posting will explain what the Bible says about how God in His infinite wisdom has solved the crises each one of us face when we discover our spiritual condition in light of His Word. His Word says He would rather that you choose “blessing” instead of “cursing” or “life” in stead of “Death”, (Deuteronomy 31: 19 - 20), and the wonderful thing about the God of the Bible is that He lets you make the choice. He is the God of LIFE and Dr.

Dr. Des is all about being motivated on a daily basis, but, many of us are just not ready to receive these insights. Therefore, it maybe time for a “Spiritual health checkup” don’t you think? Many times in our lives i.e., from infancy to adulthood we have physical problems and are in need of medical care. The physician will diagnose our sickness and prescribe medication for us. Since this is a reality in our lives, do you not think that our Spirits can get sick too and in need of healing? I would like to motivate you this week to examine your spirituality by answering two questions to see if you are as healthy as you think you are!
Or, are you in dire need of being healed spiritually too?

This posting is the awareness of Chronos (Time) and Kiros (God’s time). As humans God has so designed our habitation on earth that is defined by Time and Space. We are creatures who live in a world that has four seasons, twenty four hour days, weeks and months etc. However, God is outside of Time and Space and it is at His discretion when he will act or speak inside time and space to an individual, group or nation. When this happens it is a “kiros moment” with God. I will endeavour to give you a motivational insight into how this happens, and it can happen in your life as well.

After much encouragement from my family and friends to pursue being a motivational speaker I decided to act. How this came about was my sister and nephew worked for a realty company in South Africa. One day she asked me to come with her to her place of work to meet the owners. After meeting the owners and the excitement that was stimulated between us they asked me to do a motivational meeting with their staff. I agreed! The response was overwhelming to my presentation. Soon after this meeting my nephew decided to act on what he had heard from me and resigned his position at the real estate company. In so doing he started his own real estate company and is very successful today. When I met with my nephew last year at his business, deBruto Real Estate, his words to me were, “Uncle Des I was the only one listening to you that day you spoke and decided to act!”
I recall that Scripture says that it is better to use the talent one has received rather than to bury it. The gift the Lord has given me is one of teaching and exhortation. This gift will induce motivational insights to stimulate the new life Christ has given each one of us into decisive action for our daily living. Jesus also said that man cannot live on bread alone, but, on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Therefore, with this in mind my intent is to fan that smoldering wick into a flame for all to see as you, the hearer, become a doer of His Word.
A paradigm shift for the hearer.
