Where was the Gospel first mentioned?
Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (Torah) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished (Matt. 5:17,18 NIV). “The Jewish Rabbis have a quaint way of expressing this very idea: they say that
they will not understand the Scriptures until the Messiah comes. But, when He comes, He will not only interpret each of the passages for us, He will interpret the very words; He will even interpet the very letters themselves; in fact, He will even interpret the spaces between the letters!” (Personal Update, June 1993 p. 13) For a closer examination of this truth, turn your attention to Genesis Chapter 5, that is, the geneology of Adam through Noah. Then examine the meanings of the names.

Hey Des my man, I showed your site to my cousin and his wife from hungray and he wrote down your site and will also be looking forward to your weekly insights, hopefully twice a week. They both enjoyed your insight and will continue to visit your site from hungray. They also will probably share the site with other hungarian pastors over there. I think you and him would have a wonderful talk if you guys meet again. He’ll be back in springfield after july 5th til the 26th if you would like to visit with him.
