Chronos
This posting is the awareness of Chronos (Time) and Kiros (God’s time). As humans God has so designed our habitation on earth that is defined by Time and Space. We are creatures who live in a world that has four seasons, twenty four hour days, weeks and months etc. However, God is outside of Time and Space and it is at His discretion when he will act or speak inside time and space to an individual, group or nation. When this happens it is a “kiros moment” with God. I will endeavour to give you a motivational insight into how this happens, and it can happen in your life as well.

Where was the Gospel first mentioned?
Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (Torah) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished (Matt. 5:17,18 NIV). “The Jewish Rabbis have a quaint way of expressing this very idea: they say that
they will not understand the Scriptures until the Messiah comes. But, when He comes, He will not only interpret each of the passages for us, He will interpret the very words; He will even interpet the very letters themselves; in fact, He will even interpret the spaces between the letters!” (Personal Update, June 1993 p. 13) For a closer examination of this truth, turn your attention to Genesis Chapter 5, that is, the geneology of Adam through Noah. Then examine the meanings of the names.

Jer. 31:16-17
To the parents of children who have been raised in the church and in later life departed from their roots, here is
a true testimony of how God spoke to me early one morning while in a time of deep distress and anguish. This is going to give you insight into how God cares for you and your family. This posting will motivate you to spend time at his feet on a daily basis and learn to hear or discern his voice, when he speaks to you.

This was an exciting opportunity to do this video clip. After a couple of takes and retakes we finally were comfortable with what we had come up with. Our Motivational Insights will always be the best prepared so that they are concise and to the point. As for this clip I based it on Prov. 1:1-7 as I believe that one needs to establish a base to build on. This we will do on a weekly basis.

After much encouragement from my family and friends to pursue being a motivational speaker I decided to act. How this came about was my sister and nephew worked for a realty company in South Africa. One day she asked me to come with her to her place of work to meet the owners. After meeting the owners and the excitement that was stimulated between us they asked me to do a motivational meeting with their staff. I agreed! The response was overwhelming to my presentation. Soon after this meeting my nephew decided to act on what he had heard from me and resigned his position at the real estate company. In so doing he started his own real estate company and is very successful today. When I met with my nephew last year at his business, deBruto Real Estate, his words to me were, “Uncle Des I was the only one listening to you that day you spoke and decided to act!”
I recall that Scripture says that it is better to use the talent one has received rather than to bury it. The gift the Lord has given me is one of teaching and exhortation. This gift will induce motivational insights to stimulate the new life Christ has given each one of us into decisive action for our daily living. Jesus also said that man cannot live on bread alone, but, on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Therefore, with this in mind my intent is to fan that smoldering wick into a flame for all to see as you, the hearer, become a doer of His Word.
A paradigm shift for the hearer.
